Borgess Medical Center and Ferris State University are co-sponsoring the Second Annual Contemporary Topics for Pharmacy Practitioners symposium on October 25th at the Lawrence Education Center in Kalamazoo. It has been approved by ACPE for 0.4 CEU. The topics will include: "New Treatments for Schizophrenia: A Critical Overview", "Alzheimer's Disease: Fact or Fiction?", "New Developments in Heart Failure Management", and "Vaccines: Debunking Old Myths and Starting Some New Ones". The presentations will be from 8 AM until 12 PM, with lunch following from noon to 1 PM. The presenters are Dean VanLoo & Vicki Sternhagen of Ferris State and Stephanie Barbour & Jennifer Hagerman of Borgess. We are planning on sending flyers out to WMSHP members once they are printed.
